Advertising on all these Local Search Directory sites is absolutely free:
- Google Places
- Yahoo! Local
- Bing
- Superpages
- Online Yellow Pages
- Yelp
- Merchant Circle
- Hundreds of others
But they do not make it easy to find the FREE submissions and they will try to sell you paid versions and even monthly subscriptions.
Some Local Search Directory sales people – probably under pressure
to make quotas or paid on commission – will even tell you that
you must pay. That is NOT true.
You CAN submit manually but it takes so many hours and is so mind numbingly boring to do that we DO NOT recommend you do it that way. We have a Local Listing Service we use that we highly recommend.
