It will help you keep track of who to follow up with in a timely manner. But you still have to spend just as much time with customers closing deals. Many companies spend money to generate leads, but then don’t effectively follow up with them. That is the main benefit of using a CRM correctly.

CRM is there for the company, but it does not help to increase sales. As if we wish happy birthday to our customer, our customer will feel good, but if he presently does not require work he will not give work or say buy product from the company. It is just based on requirement and not any other thing.
