Monitoring Social Media Conference – London or Paris

November 17, 2010 By Gail Gardner 12 Comments

Monitoring Social Media Dec 22, 2010 LondonThe last two Influence People Monitoring Social Media events of 2010 are in London November 22nd and Paris December 10th.

Not in London or Paris? You could give yourself an early holiday gift and your business a tax write-off and learn tons too by attending either of these events.

“The event is currently touring around the country and I highly recommend it. It’s one of the only, or the only, event of its kind with concentrated focus on social media monitoring.” ~ Ken Polson, Product Marketing Manager, Marchex

Attendees have written some excellent reviews of Social Media Monitoring solutions offered by speakers:

  • Marshall Sponder (@WebMetricsGuru) reviewed Synthesio’s new Influencer Dashboard
  • Marshall described the new Glide Technologies “Super charged PR monitoring” using GlideIntelligence
  • Marshall talks about several of the events including London, San Francisco and Monitoring Social Media New York
  • Trisha Lyn Fawver’s four live blogging posts from the Monitoring Social Media event in San Francisco.
  • Video of Marshall Sponder’s Social Media ROI presentation at the Boston event.
  • Influence People Slideshow presentation slides from Monitoring Social Media events

“We were both impressed and surprised by the quality of the speakers and the information presented at the event. Sometimes you go to these events and hear nothing but a sales pitch. This conference happily, wasn’t that.”  ~ Two of us from E3 European Agency Network … lucky enough to attend a Monitoring Social Media event presented by Influence People in Boston. ~

I hope they would also visit Asia because I can’t afford to fly to Paris. Even the accommodation there is so expensive. But I would surely want to hear from those reputable speakers. I’ll definitely check out the link here for the videos. That would be a good help for me and my business.

    Hi Gail,

I wish I could have attended this conference :(. Seeing the roundup of speakers, I’m sure it’ll be quite beneficial. Plus the topics covered are of great interest to me.

And yet I was so close. I will actually be in Paris but believe it or not I leave on the 10th in the morning for London. My schedule is all backwards this time round lol. If there’s a change of plan – I’m gonna’ come back for some more info cause I’d love to expand my knowledge base.

Thanks for the heads up on this.
    Cheers

Attending this event can be considered as a tax write-off?!? Awesome!

But I won’t be able to attend them in person anyway simply because I don’t have the money to fly to Paris or London. I’ll just stick to what I always do – learn and watch these events online. 🙂

Hi Gail, thanks for the news I’ll be sure to spread the word. You know me I love videos, so I’m headed straight over to watch the video of Marshall Sponder’s Social Media ROI presentation at the Boston event.

I’ll check out some of the reviews also. Have a good one.

      Hi Ileane,

Thank you so much. Marshall is the one person I would love to collaborate with because he has the indepth background necessary to evaluate all the solutions and give excellent advice. He’ll be someone I’ll be recommending businesses turn to for guidance – if they’ll listen.

      Hi Louise,

It is definitely not a fad and you are not alone feeling lost. It is early days now and those who get it figured out will have a strong advantage. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing getting on Twitter and Facebook now can be very useful.

I will be sharing more tips like the ones in the post I’ll put in CommentLuv in this reply. That one tip can greatly grow anyone’s influence.
