This is the second of three parts of the image advertising episode of Future of Publishing. In this episode, Newlands and Roup talk with Chas Edwards and Rey Flemings on how to monetize images:

Highlights from part 2:

  • Engaging media produces high conversion rates…
  • …and interactive images are very engaging…

As you correctly said, content will always be more important than other surrounding things. An eye-catching, potentially-viral, image or video located inside the content is the best thing you can do to boost your CTR.

The effective readable and selling materials are those seen and attractive with the eyes so as images. It upsell and speak more words than a text or a phrase. Just like the perspectives of a nursery kid, he wouldn’t mind about the text but the images will be the one posted in their mind.

Pictures certainly work better than naked text. And…when the visitor can manipulate the pictures, he is likely to stay and buy. It sounds like this is a tool that every blogger would want.

Interactive images have alot of potential in increasing conversion rates but you must figure out the best way to use them. I do it through trial and error until i find something that works. A picture says 1000 words is very true for some products and services so i think that you’ll see more and more marketers utilize interactive images.

Yes, I also agree that images can speak instead of 100 words. You can’t explain the product using words, instead of if you use images to explain products it’s more effective because buyer can get exact idea of the product, so it’s effective.

Images are sometimes the key of the business to attract customers, so having it perfectly is the key to earn money, or in photography it is the life of the business.

Totally agree. Without images, you couldn’t sell anything. But if you got professional, atmospheric images you can get money out of pretty much everything…
