AI chatbots do not get tired and interact with every customer. The salesperson doesn’t need to take time out of their schedule to interact with every customer who just needs to ask about a coupon’s expiry. This frees them up to handle other important tasks.

Chatbots can be programmed to answer basic questions about contacting the business, working hours, discount coupons, delivery dates and so on. Your human resources can be allocated to other tasks that need human intervention.

After interacting with a customer, the AI chatbot can differentiate a genuine lead from a general inquiry. The salesperson can then focus on converting this genuine lead instead of answering less useful questions.

The salespeople then have the time to act on issues if any customer has any. We are talking about customers who need a refund or exchange for a product they bought but are not satisfied with or someone who didn’t receive a product altogether. These are the customers in priority.

If they’re happy with the customer service, they will buy something in the future even if the first experience of buying wasn’t very successful. These happy customers become regular customers and do not need to be converted every time.

Many dropshipping and eCommerce business owners use AI chatbots to build better customer relationships. In fact, it won’t be too much to say that chatbots can automate your CRM to a great extent.

Small online store owners many times use Facebook Messenger as they do not have the budget to create their own customized chatbot. However, it is preferable to develop your own chatbot to serve your customers in a better way.

Common questions related to information about the company, refund and exchange process could be programmed into chatbots. No human needs to get involved in this.

The chatbots answer these questions quickly, whereas if any specific question is asked, customers are transferred to a live attendant.

AI predictive analytics can assist in creating engaging marketing campaigns. Predictive analytics identifies genuine prospects and provides an advantage to win new business.

AI also helps a great deal in email marketing. AI can classify the user data faster than any human can mainly because the data is too huge to be completely analyzed by humans.

The user-generated data is like a source of energy for the AI and helps in creating personalized emails including all the aspects from content to design.

AI can detect where in the funnel the users belong and inform them about products and recommendations accordingly.

Not just the position in the funnel, but demographics including age, gender, education, background, geographic location, and budget are also taken into consideration by AI analysis.

Further, browsing behavior, buying pattern, previous orders also matter while planning the content for advertising.

Suppose a customer plans to buy a laptop and has selected the laptop and put it in the cart. Now the customer proceeds toward the checkout page.

Before the customer checks out, he sees a suggestion of a wireless mouse and keyboard, certain items people usually buy together. If the customer thinks that it is a great deal to buy all these together, he will buy them.

It is obviously better to buy more items at once to avoid paying multiple delivery fees.

AI thus increases the sales of a business and is also beneficial to the customers as they do not need to look for the items from scratch. This also eliminates the factor of human error.

  • Analyzing User Data to Gain Insights

Predictive analytics is probably the most robust use of Artificial Intelligence technology in dropshipping and eCommerce businesses. Track the activities of your website or app’s users with AI.

AI in mobile app development can be implemented and leveraged effectively. Use AI predictive analytics to collect information about users including their:

  • Demographics
  • Browsing behavior
  • Previous purchases
  • Items they looked at or in their wish cart.

AI studies this information and generates buying patterns for every customer. These insights are very beneficial to the business. In fact, this information helps in identifying the best time or method to reach out to target potential customers and generate leads.

  • Identifying Genuine Leads

Your website may generate a lot of leads but are all these leads worth following? What are their chances of getting converted? What is the pattern behind them?

All of this information can be obtained if AI is used effectively. AI can analyze user data and conclude which leads are worth chasing and which can be let go. The sales team can then focus only on high-probability leads.
