Sad news in our blogging community. Well known blogger Gerald Weber of Search Engine Marketing Group / My SEO Community and partner Jamee Sheikh Fowler recently lost their infant daughter.
Both mother and baby were in intensive care and touch and go. Jamee was released after a week, but nothing could be done to save Alexandria. She was only 23 weeks and 5 days and lived two days.
The medical bills are enormous (hundreds of thousands of dollars), as you can imagine. Please consider a donation. Even small amounts add up – so even if you can only afford a few dollars that really helps.
What we can do to help:
- Sign Alexandria’s guest book as a tribute to her life.
- Give what you can to Alexandria’s memorial fund.
- Let friends of theirs know and spread the word so that we can ease some of the financial burden.
- If you have ideas for ways to raise money to pay off the medical bills let me know. If you hear of any efforts I will assist in getting the word out. Please do tell me in case I don’t see them.
Gerald and Jamee are sharing Alexandria’s photographs in this Photo Gallery.
They are still accepting donations at http://alexandriaweber.com/
Look for the PayPal Donate button.

This is a very heart-crushing news. A baby’s death is truly insurmountable. But you really have to go through the grieving process. For you to fully let go, you and your wife must not stop yourself from showing your emotions. You need each other and support one another especially in this time.
This is so tragic. My heart goes out to Alexandria’s family. I’m off to make a donation now and I will spread the word. No parents should have to endure the loss of a child. My prayers are with the family.

Sherryl,
Thank you so much for your prayers. We have had so much support from friends, family, the church and our online social communities and friends like Gail, that has really helped give us the strength to get through this.
We appreciate your thoughts, comment and prayers
That is so awful for anyone!
I hope they would have same kind of healthcare than we have in Finland where almost all treatments and hospitals are free, especially for young children.

Oh no, Alexandria?
Lost, already?
My heart goes out to you, Gerald & Jamee. She’s an angel, always was and now, always will be.
We had already decided her name was going to be Alexandria Weber, but she had passed away before we had decided on her middle name.
So once she passed we knew she was an angel with God in heaven, so the decision to name her Alexandria Angel Weber was easy.
News like this saddens my heart to unthinkable level. The news brings tears to my eyes for his females pain and loss. I pray for them as they face the most difficult challenges life has to face. Forever in our heart!
Hi Brian,
Thanks for commenting. I had a really hard time writing this post. It was all I could do not to keep crying and I couldn’t see the screen to type. That is why I’m hoping our fellow bloggers will first donate so that Alexandria’s memorial can be covered and then help think of ways to raise money to help pay down the medical expenses. If you have ideas please connect with me.

Oh, Gerald, my heart goes out to your family. This is such a small thing. I hope my readers will donate so you won’t have so much financial burden to carry alone. But mostly so you know that many feel for you. May God bless little Alexandria and her family.
Gail,
Jamee and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for telling our story and your help during this time of our family crisis.
Initially http://alexandriaweber.com/ is going to be a memorial site for our daughter ( and always will be) but later we intend to use it as a way to educate others about preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome which is what caused this tragedy for our family. Also preeclampsia is leading cause of maternal death worldwide. So it’s something that pregnant women everywhere need to be aware of.
Thanksa gain. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate your support.
