This is a great idea, and I will have to give it a try. I was reading through a lot of the comments on the post about some of the readers not having the nerve to try it yet. What is the worst that could happen? You have everything to gain from doing the competition, people will give you help and point you in the right direction where you are lacking on your blog. No, it is definitely NOT reserved to big names. Bloggers of all levels of experience are specifically invited and there are so many cash and non-cash prizes so that all bloggers have a chance to win something.
Even those who do not win will learn so much and they will meet bloggers who will share their knowledge and send them traffic. I can teach any blogger how to quickly get to a PageRank of 4 by collaborating with other bloggers.

Hello,
What businesses don’t seem to realize is that they are already being written about and talked about and any unhappy customer is more likely to do so than all the happy ones. That is why being proactive online and having your supporters writing about you FIRST is so important.
There is no business that does not occasionally have an unhappy customer, but those who are generally good businesses will have supporters come to their rescue if they have been active online BEFORE the negative comments start.
I encourage all businesses to not delay in getting active online in social media and blogs because doing so puts your business more at risk – not less.
