Apple Stock Drops Due to Low iPhone 5 Sales
Murray Newlands discusses why Apple fans aren’t thrilled with the just releaased iPhone 5 and sales are way below predictions in spite of lines reported to be 89% longer.
Fans are disappointed in the Apple mapping app and that is what
much of the negative sentiment and online conversations discuss.
As you can see from this social media monitoring graph of social network mentions of the iPhone 5, there are almost as many negative comments about this new smart phone as there are positive.

Hi there. It is due to entering of iPhone rumors and nothing also. After failure of Google Map app, iPhone sales become poorer. But now it has come with improved apps and features.
I bought an Iphone 5 a month or so ago and really love it, the battery life is exceptional and compared to my previous android phone its a great improvement. I can’t comment on the maps app though since I use a TomTom Gps.
In fact, iPhone 5 is more or less overpriced among smartphones. It doesn’t provide as many features as others like samsung galaxy s3 for instance. however, I admire the way they manufacture the phone. very high quality

Honestly saying i am not satisfied with iPhone 5.Samsung Galaxy is much better.iPhone 5 almost contains the same features as iPhone4 has.

Probably some iphone fans want to get everything on that tiny device but this is not proper time for mankind to expect everything in such a tiny device. I love many of iphone5′s new features. Some are really nice and more than that generally people can expect. How sleek it is , how precise it is in its design. By one year it is not possible to bring something really massive for humanity. In overall this is an amazing device yet to me.
I am not all satisfied with iphone 5 as expected price set for it is very high.

Apple I Phone 5 does not have any striking feature from its predecessor.Also samsung S3 has given a strong competition to apple.The I phone 5 defect in the map application has to be quickly repaired.I wanted to purchase I Phone 5 but nothing is extraordinary compared to the 4th version of its product.
The world was being expected from Apple. It couldn’t deliver, and hence the ire.
But it won’t remain a tough time for long. This is not the first time Apple has faced initial criticism.

As humans we get bored pretty quickly and it was only a matter I time until their development would slow down and people would see the novelty wearing thin. If the iphone5 had new as opposed to improved features I think the launch would have been better.
I honestly had no clue that there was that much negative sentiment surrounding the Apple iPhone 5 launch. There really seems to be a hole in the bucket of awesomeness Apple had going for it. I bet this happened due to the new launch of iphone5 which has no much difference other than the dimensions than the iphone 4 . And thus people aren’t preferring to buy it. Ultimately leading to a decreased sale.
Before the launch of iphone5 apple is very good in market.
but after the launch of iphone5 apply is very damaged in market and i thing this is because of Samsung S3 launched before the launched of iphone5.and its totally damaged the apple.

I’d been waiting for the this new phone for months but I was underwhelmed. Nothing bad about it, I just expected something a little more special. I’m resting my hopes on Samsung’s Note II.

I think sales were lower than expected because the expectations were set too high. They still exceeded the sales of the iPhone 4S and still growing. The overall response to the phone has been positive and the people who are dissatisfied are those that expected too much.
