Add PayPal donate or buy now buttons to WordPress sites

If you are running your blog on WordPress and you want to put a PayPal button in your blog so that your readers can donate some money or pay for the products that you sell then you don’t need to be a developer. This post is intended for those WordPress users who don’t know anything about coding or programming.

Being a blogger I understand that a major proportion of WordPress bloggers don’t know how to customize a theme or write a plugin. Even editing and adding a simple code can be a big problematic process for many fellow bloggers.

Don’t Miss : How to Add a shopping cart on WordPress.

So, to make things easy for you, I have researched some of the best plugins that you can use to add a PayPal button in your WordPress blog. This button can be placed anywhere and you can use it as a widget or you can place it on the sign-up form. As I have already said, you don’t need to polish your programming skills or learn any kind of coding to go through this process.

WordPress PayPal Donation Plugin

If you are not offering any services or selling any products, but still want to earn some extra money from your blog you can use this plugin to very easily add a Donate with PayPal button. I’m pretty sure that you write epic content and provide very useful information to your readers for which they would love to donate a little bit from their end so you can keep doing that great work. This plugin will also let you show the total amount of money you have collected so far in the form of donations.

In just one click, a reader can easily donate money
by using his or her PayPal account.

Easyfileshop

If you sell some digital products on your blog and you want to offer a convenient way to your customers to pay for those products then this plugin is perfect for you. It can help you associate a file with a PayPal checkout page which is completely customizable. Once the customer has paid for the product and payment is verified, he will be allowed to download that file with the help of a personal download link. This is a great way to earn money selling  e-Books.

You can write a training book in your niche and
put it on sale at your blog using this plugin.

Senzoo Donation Widget

This is another great plugin that can help you collect donations from your loyal readers. The best thing about this plugin is that it can be used as a widget. This plugin not only supports PayPal as a payment processor but it also facilitates those readers that would like to donate using Google Checkout or Amazon FPS. You can visit their website to see a quick demonstration of how to use that plugin.

WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart

If you are selling multiple products on your blog then you definitely need a shopping cart. This plugin serves this purpose and allows your customers to add different products in their PayPal integrated shopping cart. This plugin can also be integrated with NextGen gallery plugin so you can make your products look good and attract more customers.

There are many plugins which you can use in your WordPress blog to add a PayPal button, but the plugins described above are the plugins which I have tested my self. I hope these Plugins will help you.

If you wish to recommend or comment on any other PayPal button plugins which you use then feel free to let us know in comments below. Thank you.

One should do A/B testing for this. A simple, large button is a much better option than a cluttered obnoxious button.

Yeah, this post is very good for people seeking for extra money out of their blogs. Regarding the PayPal rate you mentioned it’s 3,4%, indeed, however if the money you paying out PayPal for the TAX is more than £20/month I suggest to sign up for monthly plan, so you pay a flat rate of £20 per month to PayPal, but they will charge you NOTHING for any transaction :)

It is very simple to add the Paypal Shopping Cart in word press, it allows you to add an ‘Add to Cart’ button for your product on any posts or pages.
The most advance option is it can be easily integrated with the NextGen Photo Gallery plugin also so that you can sell the photographs from your gallery by direct.
