UPDATE: Received my CordCruncher Earbuds – they’re WAY more cool in real life! They’re comfortable to wear so they’re always handy and they make great earplugs for when you want silence and the neighbor has their boom box blaring!
DEFINITELY worth supporting on Kickstarter so please act NOW!
If Jay could find a way to put CordCruncher’s scrunchy goodness on reading glasses so they could always be handy and I’d stop losing them – THAT would be something! Everyone 45-50+ needs wearable inexpensive reading glasses.
CordCruncher i Earbuds HeadPhones were introduced at CES this past January to stellar reviews. Take a look at these stylish headphones that allow complete freedom of movement and I think you will see why.
Simplicity is the genius of these headphones to use with your iPhones, iPods, iPads, cell phones, mp3 players, MacBookPros, Notebooks, CD players – most smart phones and devices that use a standard 3.5mm port.
Anyone who loves gadgets will want these earbud headphones
because who isn’t tired of snagging and untangling cords?
Jay Johnson’s invention features an elastic cord storage function that shrinks the cord from 3.5 feet to 16 inches. In addition to storing the headphones tangle-free, the sleeve allows you to adjust the cord to any length.
Watch this 15 second demo video showing how the cord is stored and adjusted:
The big kicker is these units can be worn as a fashion accessory (bracelets and necklaces) when the phonoplug is attached to the plastic head on the other side of the elastic storage sleeve.
Gotta think the kids are going to go nuts over these colorful fashion accessories.
The video below is an arty, two-minute Lifestyle Presentation demonstrating activities perfect for using your new CordCruncher Earbuds:

Hi Growmap! Jay Johnson here from CordCruncher. I wanted to thank you again for your time assisting us with on our Kickstarter project at the beginning of the year. We were successful beyond all expectations! We are in your debt!!
Earbud Headphones are really a cool invention. I am really hoping that it is not just like any other low quality headphones.

No, I have some here and they are much better than the cheap ones you’re thinking about – these are well built and as long as you take care of them should last a long time unless you snag the cord in a door or something.
I love this invention and gives me hope that one day I can come up with a simple solution to a problem we deal with everyday. It really takes a keen eye to view our lives from the outside so they can see that we need a headphone sleeve like this. One little issue though is that they should really invest a few dollars in redesigning their website. A professional looking website will greatly increase adoption and sales.

CordCruncher is quite possibly one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen in a long time. I’ve been dealing with the annoyances of tangled headphones for years and finally someone has invented something to make my music listening experience that much easier and stress free.

Hi John,
I have these earphones and I really like them because they’re lightweight and you can wear them comfortably, both when you are using them and when you aren’t. I actually use them more as earplugs than headphones whenever some boom box with a thudding bass is anywhere near here. I am a long way from any road but they still annoy me.
