New Free How to Make a Blog eBook

November 8, 2010 By Gail Gardner 52 Comments

Murray Newlands is rolling out a new free ebook today called How to Make a Blog Book.  Join his How to make a blog Facebook fan page and download it there or use this How to Make a Blog Book to download this 100% free ebook.

How To Make A Blog Book

Besides tips and advice from Murray, there are interviews and tips in the book from famous bloggers like Chris Brogan plus bloggers you will already know if you know me because they’re people I recommend all the time like Kristi Hines, Ron Cripps and Donna Fontenot.

Murray would love it if you will give feedback on the How to Build Your Blog book Facebook wall.  And do share the ebook link with your friends.

Effective link building is essential to ranking high in the search engines. If you are serious about trying to rank for any competitive terms, it is going to take a lot of links to do it. Thanks for the free book!

Hello Kevin and welcome to GrowMap,

I totally agree and one of my major goals is to get more bloggers collaborating with others in their own niches so they can more easily receive related incoming links from relevant sites.

I just announced a new collaboration of five couponing bloggers today and know a self-publishing blogger who is interested in joining a similar collaboration related to your site. I’ll be publishing another post tomorrow on what the collaboration is working on.

It is easy for bloggers to increase search engine traffic, lower their Alexa ratings, and drive more traffic from social media when they support each other’s efforts. If you’re interested let me know.

    Hey Gail,

This eBook sounds fantastic. Hats of to Murray for taking the time to round up these A+ bloggers for us here. I’ve already downloaded it and can’t wait to get crackin’ on it.

I think between this eBook right here and Michele Welch’s Business Blogging ebook (another brilliant resource with over 31 blog posts – as you well know), bloggers – whether newbies or not – have tons of great tips and advice to take-in and apply in a way that could best work for them. I think that’s always the key for it’s easy to come back and say that you did everything the others do and still no results.

When in reality one should apply the advice or tips to see how it can work for them. Every blog and blogger is different and some things that work for one don’t necessarily mean it will work for another . I think this an important aspect to consider. But then again – what do I know? lol 😉

The interviews in here sound very interesting and are always a great way to share information. I’m a fan of those in general.

    Thanks again Gail.
Always a pleasure stopping by here and seeing what new goodies you have in store for us :).

    Have a great week.
    Cheers

      Hi Ingrid,

Thank you so much for the comment and my apologies for taking so long to reply. I know you won’t mind that I added a link to my post about Michele’s ebook to your comment to make it easier for people to find it.

Murray’s and Michelle’s ebooks are very different from each other, but they both give us more blogs to check out and learn from.

Blogging reveals one’s identity and even enables us to perceive one’s physical and mental attitude to a certain extent. So writing a blog to reflect our originality is crucial to gain reputation, traffic and customer support literally. In that way, I appreciate Murray for his advices and suggestions for our blog writing. Hope following his etiquette could fetch money online in an effortless manner!

The only do us any good if we read and IMPLEMENT what they share. I reference them both regularly and am making a point of connecting with almost everyone in both books.

Making money online is far more complicated than what most people think and can take years to sort out. There is NO legitimate get-rich-quick scheme that works – contrary to what the people who sell that kind of products want you to believe.

Building a business online or off takes a long time and a lot of effort.

      Hi Brooke,

What we need to do for all our blogs is have many writers. We need to either make them group blogs or publish guest posts or contribute to group blogs. The first priority for every bloggers is to identify four other quality blogs in their niche. I have a plan you can use that will increase your traffic and influence collectively.

I have never made an e-book and I would not know really where to start. That e-book looks great and it should have some good tips so I can really kick start my blog. Atm the visitors are not there at all and I really could do with all the help atm.

[Hi Craig, I can definitely assist with the lack of traffic and recommend you read the ebook as many very influential and experienced bloggers took the time to share tips in it. I have to let you know that the reason I removed your links is that bingo is considered a bad neighborhood because it encourages gambling. Many bloggers will not allow links to that site but if you have any other non-adult, non-gambling sites suitable to mixed company your links will be removed.]

Every now and then when I promote a link on Facebook, the text snippet is worthless. I suspect it’s due to the way the site page is laid out, and web designers need to start checking this. For example, here what the free book page shows on my Facebook post:

          Hi John,

I wanted to share with you and others how well CommentLuv works. When I opened Skype today (didn’t realize it wasn’t online) I received this message:

[7:44:31 AM] Andrew Rondeau: one that deserves a comment, I think: http://productivewriters.com/2010/11/08/blogging-networks-joining-benefits/

Then I noticed that you had both commented in this post and you had used that link in CommentLuv. Andrew is extremely busy and doesn’t often take the time to send links so having him share yours is high praise.

Maybe he already reads your blog and knows you; maybe he just found you through your CommentLuv link here or perhaps it reminded him to visit you again. Regardless, I share this so that others will see the benefits of using it.

Many people are swinging for the fences hoping to get something to go viral when what they really need is to keep planting seeds. The more seeds you plant, the greater the harvest will be.

Gail, I’m in full-time seed planting mode again.

I know what I have to offer is excellent. But the jostling in this space is exhausting. I don’t have the energy for that kind of “Look at me! Look at me!” hustle right now.

Instead, I’m hunkered down. Mastering my craft. That’s a different kind of hustle, pays off in the long term.
