Display stands catch the attention of a consumer very fast. Usually when we visit shops for shopping several necessary products, we often see display stands just outside the shops or inside the shop right next to the cash counter. Promotional Flags is one of my favorite display stands which I use for my business. It is a good practice to make use of display stands to increase sales but positioning the display stands also matters a lot. Point of sale displays are often used to catch the eye of the customer and draw them to a product they might not notice otherwise, but the only consideration here is placing it appropriately, for instance: in unusual places likes near rest rooms.

Display stands might not grab the attention of all the people to whom the advertising is visible because maybe they do not need that particular product or service. However, for others, it can be really attractive. Advertisements these days have a huge impact on the minds of people and their tendency to buy various products and services.

These displays are especially helpful if your physical location is confusing to the average person who has never been there before. Putting a sign up on the street indicating the name and number of the location helped with our visibility.

Hi Robert,

People are greatly underestimating the value of signs, flags and banners even though they see examples of how well they work just about any time they drive somewhere.

I have shopped at many small stores because I saw their signs as I walked or drove by. Since I was not looking for them and didn’t even know they existed, search engines and directories would not have led me to their door.

People should think of all the times they notice a car dealership because it put up flags, balloons or even some giant inflatable attention-getter during a sale. Any other day they drive right by the place and never notice it.

I assure you that signage is very important. Here are just three reasons / examples why:

1) If you have a physical location, the sign is how customers will find it – no sign, no customers.

2) There is a store in Dallas that sells magazines and newspapers from all over. The original owner was going under. The new owner immediately installed bright lighting, repainted the store white inside and did two other things that tripled business: 1-he put a big sign over the business and a sign out by the road because the shop was well back from the traffic. That is how I found the place – and so did a lot of other new customers. 2- He put a strobe light in the window that attracted attention to the building which now had larger signs on it that attracted drive-by and walk-by traffic.

3) There is a restaurant in a small town outside Dallas that only has a driveway on one side. They finally took my advice to put a sign near the road before that one driveway because every time I drove by I thought, we should have eaten there! There is too much traffic on that highway to get turned around and go back. No telling how much business they have lost because even their regulars don’t think about stopping until they’re past the driveway. (If coming from the other direction you have time to slow-down and stop when you see their distinctive building – but half the drive-by traffic won’t – until it is too late.)

As long as people still have to go outside to work, to buy groceries, to find entertainment, to take a walk, or to drive to wherever they want to go, the old ‘offline’ marketing systems will still work. And producing these display stands have lately become both quicker and inexpensive.
