JustRetweet is Under New Ownership
Chris Fong is the new owner of JustRetweet, so we are once again recommending using their site. For more details, see Twitter Retweets Plus More Traffic and Followers Using JustRetweet – Influencers Already On Board.
Why We Temporarily Recommended Against Using JustRetweet
Valentine Belonwu, the owner of JustRetweet, came to me and asked my opinion on his site. After I gave it, he offered me 50% for launching and promoting it. After I got many influential bloggers to use the site and wrote posts about it and promoted it, he then made Ileane a partner – but did not clearly explain what he was committing to her.
I found out when she expected payment for promoting and told me he had offered to partner with her. I like Ileane and I would have gladly partnered with her; however, that should have been discussed in advance. Nevertheless, I did not have a problem with working with Ileane, too, and asked that he make a commitment regarding what our actual agreement was now since it clearly could not be 50/50 any more.
I suggested thirds, then 50/25/25 then various other amounts and finally 0 for me – I just wanted to know what our agreement was. Valentine would commit to NOTHING. The only reason not to commit was if you have no intentions of honoring ANY agreement.
At that point I stopped working with Valentine. He had also claimed Enstine Muki at Easy Retweet had copied JustRetweet and I found out the opposite was true. But strangely, Enstine kept helping Valentine even after Valentine lied about that. That never did add up.
At any rate, JustRetweet has been sold – maybe. And now Easy Retweet is listed on Flippa. Neither owner has proven to be trustworthy, so I do hope you will be cautious. Enstine has not committed to ask the new owner to honor existing advertising time that will not be completed before the sale ends.
The new owner may decide to honor prior commitments – including credits – but they may not – so buyer beware. I would advise using credits up quickly and being aware that there is probably little recourse should the new owner choose not to honor existing credits or advertising spots.
Note that as of 9/27/12 there is no new owner listed on JustRetweet’s site even though it supposedly sold back in August?, there is a blog post indicating that Chris is the new “manager” (but not owner?) and Valentine is still listed on that page.
Retweeting Tips:
- Only share your most important landing pages.
- Write compelling tweets that invite Twitter users to share them and click on your links.
- Include RELATED hashtags (and additional @usernames if applicable).
IMPORTANT:
Only Retweet tweets and links your followers will be interested in!
Do NOT request Retweets of sales pages, get rich quick schemes,
unethical plugins or tools like these trackback spammers like those
commonly seen on Warrior Forum.

COMPARING RETWEET SITES:
There are numerous sites similar to JustRetweet and Easy Retweet. When you visit them it is not easy to tell who actually uses them. I have noticed they will display the Avatar of any Twitter account I am logged into if I visit them even though I have never been active on their site.
Look for spammy retweet requests, get rich quick schemes, and links that go directly to sales pages. If they permit that type of activity they may not be a site you want to get involved on.
DISCLOSURE: Valentine contacted me when he first launched JustRetweet.com and I agreed to support it and become a half interest partner because I feel the site is beneficial to small businesses and bloggers. Other bloggers like Ileane @BasicBlogTips also saw the potential in using this particular retweet site. It is a new site and there are challenges to be overcome; however, I will do my best to help Valentine to keep it on track. (Original)

Interesting stuff to do. Retweeting. I guess I have made lots of followers because of my retweets but doesn’t know how fast paced one can help me with it.
