Now is a great time for me to update my many lists of DoFollow bloggers especially the one in my post on KeywordLuv: How Using It Benefits Us All.
It is also the time for you to all TELL ME
if any of your blogs are missing from my lists.
I regularly find out bloggers I know have DoFollow CommentLuv KeywordLuv blogs that aren’t on my list AND I get introduced to bloggers that somehow missed being on my radar. Just yesterday Vernessa mentioned Stella Anokams’ Marketing Tips (@stellaanokam on Twitter) and I realized her blog qualifies.
DO leave links in the comments to any blogs – yours or anyone else’s – that aren’t in my KeywordLuv list linked above, my Twitter DoFollow CommentLuv List and Twitter KeywordLuv List, or not included in my Top Marketing Blogs list.

Dofollow blogs do attracts spam commenters, but one can avoid them using CAPTHCAs and other such methods, rest you know who is spamming and who is writing the genuine opinion..you can always moderate it before approving it..

Does it really matter to comment on dofollow website/blog? I’ve commented on many sites and most of them are approved by the owner of that particular site, but yet its not giving me a backlink? I’d really love to know where I’m doing any mistake or not, or google indexing my backlink little slow….!

Hi Gail,
I have added CL premium to several of my blogs:
http://tycoonblogger.com
http://techizzle.com
and will be adding it to several more blogs that I own over the next week or so. Great plugin and I think one of the best aspects is the anti-spam capabilities and the new anti-human spam features.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll still be updating my lists for a long time because verifying who is dofollowing what is not simple. It helps if the blogger TELLS me so I know what to confirm they’re doing.

I really have one question. I understand the benefits to your blogging from this plugin, but my site was developed by a friend for free, so I’m not sure how to make the plugin work for me.
However, most importantly, have you seen more engagement with your readers after installing this plugin?
CommentLuv is the best for bloggers. I have planning to get this one.

I believe that commentluv is a good plug in for blog. I’m just a bit confused how to use keywordluv.I like to ask question about it. Why is it when I use keywordluv “myname@keyword” only my name will appear in the post what happen to the keyword I put beside my name? Can you explain to me how it work.

Hi Ruth,
You need to leave spaces between the words like this: Ruth Sayson @ Backpack Vacuums or whatever keywords you want.
If you want your blog to be taken seriously please read my post on How Not to Monetize Your Blog.
Having that huge AdSense block right at the top left corner makes your blog look like it is an MFA (Made for AdSense) site and many – maybe even most – bloggers will delete your comments or at least remove your links because of that.
Also read the post I’ve put in CommentLuv in this reply so you more fully understand about commenting.

Twitter: @GrowMap
Hi Marisa,
CommentLuv and KeywordLuv are used primarily by bloggers who believe in creating a better world by caring as much about others as they do about themselves.
They are both free so they’re not really ‘products’ in the usual sense of the word. There is a CommentLuv Premium that includes keywords that is not free and there is nothing that compares with it. You can read about it here: CommentLuv Premium Plugin: Reviews, Benefits, Where to Get It and WHY You Want It.
There ARE third party commenting systems like Livefyre, Disqus and Intense Debate. I do NOT recommend them except for blogger blogs who must use Intense Debate to install CommentLuv.
I especially recommend against Livefyre because they give the choice of ONE link only to other blogs that use Livefyre and not to anyone else. In other words, Livefyre’s goal is to get more than they give while CommentLuv user’s goal is to pay it forward and create a better world.

Hi Tim,
That is a problem with every dofollow list. Many get tired of dealing with spammers and incorrectly believe that not being dofollow will make the spam stop. (It won’t – but spammers do prefer do follow blogs.)
Others are intimidated by the 800 pound gorilla search engine and when their PageRank gets slapped – as it periodically will – they will panic and think it is because they are dofollow.
Or they will just believe that their search engine rankings drop because they’re dofollow. Search engine rankings drop for many sites for specific reasons or just because and it is not necessarily because a site is DoFollow.
I still get traffic from Google and if they wanted to make anyone go away it would be me because I often write about how Google is Evil.

Gail, I’m glad to hear that DoFollow does necessarily make one’s rankings drop. My philosophy is that you have to give something to get something, and then you get a chance to give (and get) some more. I know my commenters want to make backlinks and that’s just fine with me. I do the same thing. We are a community. The search engines can think whatever they want. Enough people connecting makes a web of interaction. I had to learn to be a part of it. My Alexa ranking is getting better, and if my commenters benefit, I’m delighted. I know they are part of the process. If it goes down, I’ll figure out some way to make it go back up.

Couldn’t agree more! The only downside is that do follow blogs seem to attract spammers, and once they’re there you cant seem to get rid of them!
Is it true that once you get a spam bot spamming your blog, it is impossible to get rid of?
