commentluv seems like a very useful plugin. I will defiantly be using it on my new blog I am creating after I am done with a few more things on my main website. Also I heard good things keywordluv. I will be testing that out too.

how is this not making money? 500 – 600 unique visitors per day? adwords alone should be making you £100 per day let alone any other advertising or affiliate deals you have on there.
Plus 200 – 300 submissions per day. That is a very big email list, try tradedoubler or similar for affiliate deals you could email out to specific subgroups from this mailing list.

I love commentluv blogs. They definitely receive more traffic than others, but you do see a slight rise in spammy comments. The Twitter addition is also nice.

Gail, I got the CLuv Premium and its everything I expected and more. I usually don’t spend money on anything but hosting and domain. But, Andy’s free version was so great and helpful in many ways, that I knew I had to get this one.
A quick question, since CLUV has GASP in it as well, would I even need Akismet anymore? Should I just go ahead and delete it?
Thanks for the GASP plugin. I have heard lots of positive things about it, specially about how unlike Akismet it actually only catches spams and not legit comments here and there. So, thanks for that.

I haven’t used Akismet since GASP became available. Most bloggers delete it while a few run it to send comments Akismet doesn’t like into the spam section and then moderate them from there.
While I personally don’t see much need to run both, if you do there is less problem with finding the quality comments from your best commenters that Akismet puts into spam because GASP blocks spambots which generate 90-96% of spam in most blogs.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the fact that GASP blocks spambots and not legit commenter was the whole reason I wanted to switch over to GASP. But since I knew it was going to be integrated with CLUV, I didn’t install it before.
So, I went ahead and did delete Akismet (sine I try to keep plugins to bare minimum essentials) and so far GASP is been fantastic. So thank you for that Gail.
