In the industry of business, finance is an important factor to consider. It can determine the growth of a certain individual or small business owners. It can also involve some other factors within this industry. What’s important is to make sure that you can manage the financial factor around you. It may not be easy to do it by yourself, you may need assistance of other professional people who experience this kind of aspect in business. Also, as what you have discussed here which are the website that can educate you about this issue. It was very nice reference to use to continue learning about business.

Thank you for these references, these are very helpful to me personally. You are right about the precarious financial health of freelancers, one moment your uphill and one mistake can make you stumble downhill. But it’s all worth it. I’m checking these sites right now.

It’s true when you mentioned that most freelancers are on the financial edge because of how erratic our job orders can be. It would be a great idea to take up personal finance education to help keep us to on top of our game no matter how challenging our circumstances may be. Thanks.

If someone is going to freelance I strongly recommend they NOT use Freelancer.com because they automatically take money out of your PayPal account without your approval or knowledge and that site stays latched on to your PayPal account unless you manually go to PayPal and find the buried way to remove it. You have to do that EVERY time you need to put money into your account.

You will also found a ton of complaints online about them scamming people out of their money so steer clear and use one of the other sites that has a better reputation.

Hi Elaine,

While knowing how to manage your money is a good skill to have, it will not matter when the value of the dollar declines so much that you can not buy even the basic necessities of life. That IS what is inevitable in the U.S. and many other countries and people need to be making changes so they will survive. These posts can help people understand what is happening and what to do to prepare:

  • Why Small Business and Bloggers Can NOT Ignore Economic Decline and Occupy Wall Street
  • What Caused the Great Depression is Happening Again NOW

As is so often repeated:

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it
~ A Hooverville from the 1930?s

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.

Hi,

This is a great idea that you have posted the results here about free lancing websites but i think you must add some quality free lancing websites like odesk, freelancer , guru , Elance and many more.
If you add those sites then you may give some value to those who are not working any where and may start free lancing.

Thanks

Saif

Hello Saif,

This post is more about finance education and not so much about freelancing sites. I do recommend avoiding Freelancer as their site is very confusing and they have a reputation for taking people’s money unethically. Best to try the other ones. Elance is the one I’ve heard the most good things about and odesk may be good as well.
