Hello Jenna,

While I appreciate the difficulty in generating an income and that you wish to do so, your site isn’t very useful for someone else trying to figure out how to make money – at least not if you just land them on that page. If you have specific methods you can recommend do please be more specific.

Great efforts and definitely a stuff for those who have or are thinking of a startup. More often than not, people who are newbies have lots of confusion and queries related to the financial management of their business. I think these resources would certainly help.

You have underlined a crucial (may be hidden) part of freelancer. Most freelancers are really ignoring this. There is absolutely no way one can succeed without good financial management skills. It’s one thing to make money. It’s another to be able to manage it. Thanks for sharing

It took me a long time to get ~good at balancing my budget and stop from spending all of my savings. I think part of it comes from age, but the other part of it definitely comes from helpful tips like these. Especially because, as writers and freelancers, it sure is hard to make money!

Although I can see this is targetted mainly for a US audience there are wider points that can be gained from this post for all of us. No doubt at all that managing your own finances is key to making good financial decisions in life and avoiding the pitfalls of debt. It is so important also to be able to recognise good debt and bad debt, where the former is a short term cost that produces a long term gain or ROI, and the latter is the financial millstone that is around your neck until you pay it off!
